Summary

Companies with more than 500 employees have to publish their scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 31 December 2012 at the latest, with an update at least every three years. The scope of the reporting requirements is also extended to the State- localities with a population in excess of 50,000 and other public entities with more than 250 employees, must establish greenhouse gas emissions inventories.
