Summary

The purpose of this Law is to regulate financial intermediation activities and the provision of financial services, as well as the organization and operation of financial entities and providers of financial services; financial consumer protection; and the participation of the State as rector of the financial system, ensuring the universality of financial services and directing their operation in support of the economic and social development policies of the country.
