Promoting Better Corporate Governance In Listed Companies 2002

}

Summary

The working group noted with satisfaction that in the majority of large French companies the recommendations of the Viénot reports were rapidly implemented. There are, however, some major listed companies that still do not satisfy some of the key principles prescribed by those reports. The working group hopes that those recommendations will be implemented in a manner that takes into account the diversity of legal structures that exists among French companies.
