Summary

Corporate governance provisions for the public enterprise sector are complementary to the rules and provisions that govern these companies under existing laws and regulations. OECD’s “Guidelines on Corporate Governance for State Owned Enterprises (SOEs)” were taken as a reference point in preparing this Code of Corporate Governance for the Public Enterprise Sector in Egypt.
